Episode Transcript
Hey, guys. Happy spring. This is Natalie, and you're listening to a podcast by Lance Lambert Ministries. This podcast seeks to bring some old treasures from Lance's archive of messages into the ears of today's listeners. Today we have an update on the status of our newest release and a future release. This Friday, we'll be releasing the mystery of Christ.
The Mystery of Christ is a series of messages Lance shared at Halford House in England. We had a lot of volunteers and workers teaming together to transcribe and lightly edit Lance's messages so that they could be in a book format. So the cover of this book is actually a photo that was taken by a brother who was climbing Mount Sinai at nighttime, which is kind of cool because Lance talks a lot in this book about the purpose that God had in creating the universe and creating mankind. So, like Lance says on page 18 of the book in chapter one, so we get a hint there, that God created all things with this mystery locked up in his heart. This mystery, this secret, was the real significance of why he created all things. The universe, the things which are seen, the things which are not seen, mankind itself. So for some of you, this may be some concepts that you've not really heard before, talking about, like God's eternal purpose or unity and things like that, or his plan in creating man or allowing the fall of man, all these kinds of things, the bride of Christ. For some of you, this might be something that you've already heard like a million times before. But even if you don't take away any new theological concepts or anything like that, you will still end up being really refreshed just reading this and being reminded of all that God's doing. Lance always has, I think, a really interesting way of phrasing things and just painting a picture of this big story, this big plan that the Lord has had from the beginning of time. So I think it would be a really encouraging book. Even if you already have read all of Lance's books before, this is still a good one to read.
So we also have a Bible study book that is in the process of being transcribed and edited. If you've been keeping up with the Bible study releases, you know that we've so far released Genesis through Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth and Ezra, Esther and Nehemiah, as well as part one and two of how the Bible came to be. So the next book in this series to be released will be Lance's studies on first and second Samuel. We'll be sharing more about this in the upcoming months. If you're interested in finding any of these books for yourself or for your church group, you can find them in our website, and I'll leave a link in the description for that. The Mystery of Christ is coming out on Friday, and we're also going to be releasing the first message that Lance shared from that series. So that'll be chapter one. We'll be releasing that on the podcast this Friday. So, yeah, hope to see you guys there.
